A tall, lean man walks through a doorway in the mansion, chuckling as he rubs the ears of the Coonie cat that sits purring on his shoulder. The sound fades and his smile vanishes as the appearance of the room he's walked into sink in, and his brows draw together in a frown. "Damia?" He calls with both voice and mind, not particularly directed so that the telepathic call might be audible to any sensitives nearby. The frown deepens for a moment then his expression smooths as the cat leaps from his shoulder to pace anxiously around his feet. He tries again, calling only with his mind but narrowing the call so that it's much less likely to be heard by anyone else. Damia? DAMIA! He pauses, waiting, and tries for other minds he knows well. ROWAN! JEFF! Nothing. He reaches to grip the back of a couch, looking a little shaken until he gets his emotional responses under control. This isn't right at all.
