Here's his wife (~hee~), and she laughs in the doorway, joyful and young, her waist supple in the way she moves.

With the back light, the very slight swell in her belly is probably a bit more visible than usual.

He looks up and smiles at her, bright himself, and stands carefully. She's so lovely and it is and that just makes him happier. He looks a little sheepish. "I'm sorry I didn't tell you where I was going."

Still probably holding one of the puppies, who tries to squirm up to lick his face.

"There is no need, love," she replies with a grin. "You are so beautiful, and it is so lovely to see you happy." She comes, a bit closer, still clad in white, of course.

He colors a little and sets down the puppy, carefully. "I'm just wondering if they belong to anyone..."

The puppy sits down and starts yelping and crying, piteously. Cleeg looks a little pained.

Aredhel comes closer, and kneels to pet the little thing. "So little and adorable," she muses. "Where is his mother?"

He looks around. "They're just about old enough to be weaned, so probably in another stall," thoughtfully, and kneels with his wife (heee) looking at the puppy.

Aredhel extends her hand to the puppy for a lick, and giggles when he does, very amused. "Oh, Melindo, I love him already so much. Perhaps we should adopt him." She smiles quirkily. "And his brother. After all, separating families is just so terrible..."

He kneels and scoops up the second puppy, holding them both together, and goes over to her, kissing her forehead. "Thank you."
