Just Another Day at the Mansion (or, Crackplot)
It's never a good sign when the morning starts with a slightly concerned, "Oh dear," from Jaenelle's study.
Nor is it a good morning when one is wandering through the Mansion when said "oh dear" takes effect, quite suddenly and randomly, creating rapid and alarming transformations. Jaenelle herself is looking sheepishly unicornish somewhere, vaguely concerned about the way people are changing.
Because it's not just animals this time. There are children and boys that used to be women and she's fairly sure that potted plant over there was a cat a minute ago...oh, wonderful.
