This evening, the ballroom has been taken over. There are chairs and a stage, and curtains to match. At the entrance of the room, a sign has been posted:

Ganymede tries to make good his escape just about the moment the curtain goes down, to better avoid comments on his role, and what a, if not pretty, then certainly very convincing girl he made.

(She can't say she didn't enjoy herself rather, though.)

Well, her his follow player will be popping from a perch somewhere, still in his religious garb, and grinning.

"You were great, Ganymede."

[dukes_daughter]

"As were you, good sir," he replies, returning the grin.

[rob_fellows]

"Robin. One doesn't survive a whole play and harrowing rehearsals without being on a first name basis." He grins again. "Besides, we're free of that bellowing Frenchman. It's for the best."

[dukes_daughter]

"Ay," he laughs. "That is so."

[rob_fellows]

"Yeah, I guess. First time ever that I act a part," he says with a chuckle. "I usually see myself onstage, instead."

[dukes_daughter]

"And didst enjoy it?"

[rob_fellows]

"I did. It was... an interesting platform." He's not trying to mean anything - Robin knew Shakespeare back then, and having met Ariel, he's not even surprised to see Shakespearean characters walking around.

[dukes_daughter]

"Ay, it was. I am as you- I have never played upon a stage."

[rob_fellows]

"You were good, though," Robin replies with a grin. "A very convincing girl."

[dukes_daughter]

He raises a brow. "Ay?

[rob_fellows]

"Yeah." He grins. "I like how you did the voice."

If typist recalls, their last and first meeting was when Ganymede was gender-swapped.

[dukes_daughter]

The typist did not recall. Thanks. XD

"I've a sister," he says, looking far too innocent.

[rob_fellows]

Is always a pleasure.

Robin grins. "She must be cute. What's her name?"

"Aliena," he says, "and she makes a fairer maid than I."

[rob_fellows]

"Pretty name - to pretty for a maid, at any rate," Robin notes with a grin. "How was the part where you had to wear a dress? I never did much of the cross-dressing scene."
