*Mina hasn't been in the public rooms of the Mansion much lately - she's been barricading herself in her room studying about five different topics at once, and only emerging to go to the library - but the light is bad and she's been lonely, so here she is in the main room of the Mansion with ink stained fingers, sitting near a window and copying

Henry is just walking, after dark, and when he sees her he stops. Freezes, really, eyes flickering from hazel to black and back.

Great. Just when he was starting to get his life back. And amid everything that's happened lately...

*Mina looks up at the footsteps, and, after a brief moment, realizes who it is* Oh. Well. It has been a while. *the expression on her face may be a bit difficult to decipher*

"It has." He keeps his voice neutral, deliberately.

T: Welcome back! Missed you. *tacklepounce* Anyone else you'd like?

*careful* How have you been?

[Typist: Thank you, missed you too! And I don't have a preference - anyone you like.]

"Well enough." Still keeping his distance, face guarded.

*a smile* The standard answer.

"It's useful for polite occasions." Slightly dryly.

Is this one?

"I wouldn't presume it as anything more. Is it less?"

I admit to not being quite certain about that yet.

"I'm surprised."

Why? It has been a long time.

[fitzroyal]

"You seemed quite sure of your position last time we spoke."

*sweetly* Well, I don't intend to ever trust you again - that hasn't changed - but one would think that, if I hadn't tried to kill you by now, I really didn't intend to.

He eyes her, trying to decide what to make of that.
