*Anita is around, looking outside, day-dreaming. She is worried about a few things, and tired, but not unhappy. She hasn't noticed Mina's presence yet.*

*She looks up, and finds a smile.* Mrs. Harker. It has. How have you been?

I could say the same, I suppose. *But perhaps Mina might notice that Anita has something of a victim, which is completely new for her.*

*Anita has a victim? Typist is not sure she understands* That's good. Better than the alternative, certainly.

*Anita as a bit the air of a victim, typist apologizes. She is very understated, which is atypical for her. And she is wearing a very ancient cameo locket around her neck, which is new.*

Oh, certainly. What have you been up to, then?

*Ah. Different.* Research, mainly. I would explain further, but I'm afraid it would be frightfully boring. What about you? That necklace is very nice.

*Yes, just a bit.* *Anita blushes, looks down at it and touches it with reverence.* Thank you. It's... very old. From the sixteenth century.

Would it offend you if I asked from qhere you acquired it?

No. *Another small, blushing smile.* My fiance gave it to me last night.

*Blushing again, and ducking her head.* Thank you. I don't deserve him, really.

*A smile, to herself.* Maybe. How did you know, when you got married, that it was right?

That's a difficult question to answer. But I think we'd loved one another for so long that it didn't seem possible that it could be wrong.
