Reintroduction

Gen had been taking a walk, not thinking of anything in particular, when he found himself back in the common room of the Mansion.   When he looks up, he already knows the answer, but calls "Roxane?" regardless, just to be certain.

When there's no answer, he sighs.  "Well."

T: Same typist, same journal, slightly reset; Gen more or less remembers his

Phedre is going to be sitting somewhere, reading a book. If Gen wants to talk to some a bit less obnoxious than the loud people he met so far, she'll be glad to offer him some tea and a calm conversation.

If she looks up as he approaches, he will offer a small day. "Good day, miss."

She does - Phedre is never completely oblivious to the world, it is just the way she was trained.

She stands, curtseys politely. "Good day, sir." And she smiles.

T: As Phedre, Robin, Puck, Cyrano and Cara are all reintro'd characters, if Gen wanted to remember any of them, no problem - they have all been reset, though.

"How are you, this day?" he asks politely.

T: I don't believe he met any of them, the last time round, which simplifies things for everyone.

"I'm well, thank you, sir," she looks up, and gestures to the couch. "Were you looking for a seat?"

T: It does, indeed, simplifies things. XD

"Not in particular, but I will join you if you like. I'm afraid I've only just arrived. Again."

She smiles, and sits, giving him plenty of space, with an inviting gesture. "You are not alone to have hovered between here and home, if it is any consolation at all. Welcome back, I suppose."

"You as well?" He sits, polite but not intimate, as they've just met. "I don't know what to make of it."

[phedre_25]

She nods, pondering. "My name is Phedre no Delaunay. I would help you, if I could."

[kotoba_tadashii]

"I thank you, but I will manage. I am Gen Watanabe."

[phedre_25]

"My pleasure," she replies, smiling. "And are you from the Extreme East, I suppose? Japan, perhaps?" Then, quickly, "Forgive me, it is an interest that I have, to study other countries, other cultures."

"Japan, indeed, though I've been away for some time. And... France, perhaps?" he guesses from air and speech pattern, though he's less certain than he was with Cyrano.

[phedre_25]

Phedre laughs, lightly, not at him, but rather because she is pleased. "I would be if I were from your world. I am D'Angeline."

"Oh. But my country is still called Japan there?" curious.

[phedre_25]

Phedre shakes her head. "The western civilizations have not discovered the extreme East, in my world. But I have been reading much on Earth, as many of my friends here are from there."

He nods, clearly a bit impressed. "I find self education is a very gratifying pastime, here or back home."
