We're sorry. (Crackplot, yes again)

Khardeen never likes to be bored. And if there's someone around who appreciates what he does, all the better!

There are now in the main room several streamers hanging from the ceiling for no apparent reason - though there is a birthday cake on the table. The cake, however, is quite harmless. It's the streamers you have to watch out for. Brush ( Read more... )

He's still pretty, but it doesn't really show. Having brushed the streamers, Clay fled outside and is currently crouched by the edge of the woods, naked, though it doesn't show through the coating of dirt. His hair is pale, pale blond under the dirt matted into it and long. He's nearly six years old, and human, currently, though the growls emanating from his throat as he messily eats an unlucky rat are certainly not human in the least.

Small children beware. Clay isn't particularly picky about what he eats. Adults might have a little more fun trying to get him inside.

She's just a little older, seven, and very, very, mischievous. She's walking around the wood's area, looking at the trees, and pondering if she can climb it.

Clay, meet ickle!Nita, 100% human, necromancy still dormant in her, and happy as can be - her mum is still alive, and nothing can go wrong in her world.

A smell. Good smell. Hungry.

He drops the rat - everything good on it is long gone, anyway, and moves in a stalking crouch, silently, through the underbrush. Harder, with all the dry things, than in the swamps, but hungry, good smell, good food.

Well, she decided that the tree was worth a shot, and she's climbing it - not as gracefully as she will as an adult, but strongly, with capable limbs that have done this before. Human limbs.

She's whistling under her breath a small kid's song, the song that doesn't end, yes it goes on and on my friend, somebody started singing it not knowing what it was, and they just keep on singing it forever just because this is the song that....

Clay stops and stares up the tree with feral eyes, prowling forward a few more steps before crouching and leaping up to seize her ankle - like grabbing a bird trying to take flight. He has fast reflexes.

She almost goes down with a yelp. Without preternatural reflexes, she didn't smell him or hear him, but she does kick back, trying to maybe lose the shoe, and to make her way up there anyway. Whatever got to her (she's not looking), it will have more problems getting her if she's up in a tree, right?

He's tugging at her ankle, growling. Not going to let lunch get away. Hungry, dammit!

And she's kicking at him with the fury of despair, because even cute little girls know that something that's growling and pulling at your ankles can't be good. She'll even be screaming and yelling, and wriggling. She's strong and agile, even if she's just a human kid.

He gets kicked in the head and falls back with a yelp, shaking his matted hair, then glares up at her where she's now probably out of reach.

She looks down then, and sees the glare. It's a little boy! A beautiful, dirty little boy!

"What do you want?" She's kind of annoyed, actually.

A growl snarl, backing away. She saw him. They're not supposed to see him.

"Wait, wait!" She doesn't go down, but her tone softens. "It's alright."

He stops moving, but there's still a growl rumbling in his throat.

Very sweetly, but still from the safety of the branch.... "I'm Anita. What did you want?"

A rumbly growl in the back of his throat, hunting down the one word he knows.

"Hungry." In a voice so long unused it barely sounds human.

Of course. Boys are always hungry. "Alright. I'll give you food, but you have to not eat me for that. Can you do that?"
