Bandwagon jumping? No way. (Introduction)

This morning there seems to be another new arrival, coming striding out of the woods holding a sword and looking fairly ticked off. He opens his mouth to say something, but the cry dies as he stares at the Mansion. Back at the woods, then at the Mansion again, an expression of "where the hell am I?" beginning to dawn on his face. The new arrival is

More relatives, aslkhfd. We're getting almost resigned to it. Not even leaping to the conclusion that he's imaginary, or anything.

"--Celegorm?"

Oh good! Not assuming people are imaginary is always helpful.

Celegorm notices him in the same moment and turns to stride over to him. "Maglor. What is this" Explanation, please?

He's looking more closed-off than was probably usual back then, and also wearing really weird clothes. And shrugs. "Are you dead?"

....he has noticed that. He spares a moment for the clothes, then goes back to the more pressing things.

"What kind of a question is that?"

[broodingelf]

Can this place get any more surreal? "Last I checked, you were."

"I'm fairly sure I'm not dead." He's wrong, Maglor! Don't listen to him.

[broodingelf]

"So you see why I asked. It gets confusing." A thin smile, not very smiley. "Where have you come from?"

"I was in Doriath. Apparently not any more."

A pause. "What do you mean, last you checked?" This is a very strange conversation.

[broodingelf]

No, not Doriath. "Time works differently -- or doesn't work at all -- here. For me, you died-- a long time ago." And do you have to all be coming back?

The 'wait, I'm dead?' is starting to get through now. Slowly. "What happened?"

Celegorm is not unhappy to see Maglor, actually! Brother things are good. Especially next to awkward cousins. And even more awkward nephews.

[broodingelf]

Maglor has Issues and isn't overly happy to see anyone, it's a thing. "You were slain in Doriath. By Dior. You, and Curufin, and Caranthir."

That was something of a bad day.

Silly Maglor. Issues are for...oh wait.

That's bad news. He scowls, a little. 'Wonderful' is the first reaction, but he's not going to go with that. "I am not dead." Firmly. He isn't!

"Fine. As I said, time is different now."

"I suppose so."

It was more to convince him than you, anyway.

"But you would have, shortly. You did."

Nnngh, you're making him squirm a little bit. He's trying not to think about that.
