Re-introduction: Loki

Have a disheveled redhead of medium height, pushing open the door to the Mansion and dropping several large beribboned bags in the entrance hall. Grinning, he calls out: "I'm back!"

The response to this is less than satisfactory. Let's try that again. "And I've got presents!"

Sophie, completely recuperated from the creepy night, will run towards Loki, excited, then stop and stare, wondering why she should be happy about someone she doesn't know being back.

Loki beams. "Hey there!"

Sophie just looks up at him blankly, and blinks several times.

"Hello, sir."

Sugar will be shortly behind. They were playing hide and seek.

"Hi, kid." He holds up a giftbox, like some demented sparkly Santa Claus. "Here for the presents?"

[crimson_sugar]

Sophie reaches for the present, and Sugar arrives just in time to hald her little hand.

"Sophie?"

The girl stops, looks at her governess, and retracts her hand just as Sugar pulls her to herself protectively.

Loki, Sugar is frowning at you. "What were you about to give her, sir?"

"A present! Everyone's getting presents."

[crimson_sugar]

Aaaalright.

"And for what reason, pray tell?"

[notwocouches]

"Because I'm back, and I feel like it." He holds out the box Sophie didn't get to take. "It won't bite, I promise, you can check for yourself."

Sugar looks at Loki with a dubious look, but figures she had best check.

She opens the box.

Yay! He likes it when they open his presents. "There you go."

And since he makes a point of not knowing which individual box contains which specific effect, he just watches expectantly to see what'll happen.

And poof! Sophie suddenly disappears, and a 9 year old little Sugar stares up at Loki. She looks terribly frightened.
