It's a given they'll run into each other every now and then, living in the same place, but that doesn't keep Kitty from stopping dead at the sight of her. "Nan!"

[kent_mermaid]

Nan just arches an eyebrow and hopes that she's not too visibly tense. Because, really, Kitty still makes her swoon a bit, even if she'd not really like to admit it. "Hallo, Kitty," she finally says, as coldly as she can manage. (Which, to be truthful, isn't much.)

"Hello," Kitty replies, rather weakly. "Been a while, hasn't it?"

[kent_mermaid]

"I'd say so." She's still trying to be stand-offish, though it's not working all that well. "What've you been doing?"

[daintyswell]

"Very little, I'm afraid," Kitty admits. "And you? What have you been doing with yourself?"

[kent_mermaid]

"Not much at all." She stretches a bit. "Hanging about, mostly."

[daintyswell]

"Just -- hanging about? Doing nothing in particular?"

[kent_mermaid]

"That's it," Nan nods and shrugs again. "It's rather boring."

"Well, then." She fidgets a little, uncomfortable. "If we're neither of us doing much, perhaps we could spend a little time together. Catch up. Only if you'd like."
