Jess is quite hungry. She finds an apple sitting there, forgetting for a moment about the warnings she's heard about. Picking it up, she takes a bite and is suddenly a drop-dead-gorgeous, stop-dead-in-your-tracks beautiful princess.

"Oh!"

Spade finds the drop-dead-gorgeous princess of interest, and also vaguely familiar. "Hey, sweetheart. I'd say we've met somewhere, but I'd think I'd remember. Still..."

Jess feels different (sparklier, happier, perkier), but isn't entirely sure why,

Oh-- there's a crown on her head. She repeats, "Oh!" (And her voice is nice and ~musical!) "When I first arrived, yes?"

He looks at her critically now. "...you look something like... hm."

She's holding the apple still and smiling widely, seemingly against her will.

"...Erm. Like what?"

He considers. "...the Darling kid," he settles on.

"Yeah... that's me!" she chirps (yes, chirp) pleasantly.

"You should try these apples, by the way. Really good." Eye twinkle!

"Uhuh." Spade isn't sure what the apples do, but he's been at the Mansion long enough to be wary. He really has no desire to be a pretty, pretty princess. "Not right now. Thanks, though."
