    Lestat is bored, he has been wandering the halls of the mansion this evening but nothing has happened that has really grabbed his attention. The man asleep amongst the paper almost succeeded in doing so, but after a second glance he just passed on by and made his way to the door. Feeling the need to be alone he makes his way out to the porch

Because there's not really any power structure to overthrow in the Mansion, Hagbard's been reverting to a very immature state. He's sitting in a tree that a man of his age shouldn't even be able to climb, watching Lestat with a broad grin.

After a few minutes, he throws an apple at the vampire's head with astounding force.

Lestat shouts a very loud curse as the apple smacks him on the side of the head. "What the hell was that for?!" He yells as he stands and whirls around toward the direction the apple came from.

"For being boring and broody, that's what!" Hagbard shouts, throwing his voice inexpertly to the left of the porch.

[immortalbrat]

"Your voice is over there, however I know that you are somewhere over here. It was a nice attempt, though it would be a good idea to work on the skill." He sits back down on the bench, "Luckily I really couldn't care less about revenge at the moment, for the apple or the comments, so you can come out from wherever you're hiding if you wish and I will not harm you."

"It's one of the few I still haven't mastered," Hagbard says, as he reaches into his pocket, not moving towards the ground. "Aim, I have." He chucks his other apple--this one painted gold and a little heavier than an apple should be--just to Lestat's right.

Lestat, this time paying attention, catches it when it gets near. "And what is this exactly?" He asks holding it up and studying it closely. "Strange."

[tanstagi]

"That would be another skill I've mastered. Engineering!" In the vampire's hand, the heavy apple's top pops open and begins spewing a thick and harmless, if a little suffocating, purple gas.

Chucks the apple off the porch and laughs. "Well that is a nice trick now isn't it! And will I be incapacitated soon or was it just a bit of a parlor trick?"

[tanstagi]

"Can't quite remember," Hagbard laughs amiably as the apple sputters its purple gas across the lawn. "I am getting old. I'm also already out of things to throw at you."

[immortalbrat]

"Well that is good news for me. Are you going to come out now or stay hidden?"

[tanstagi]

"I'm not sure just yet." Shame creeps into his voice. "I'm, uh, not sure I can get down. Christ, I really am getting old."

[immortalbrat]

Laughing, Lestat stands and walks toward where his voice has been coming from. "I can help you down if you need me to, you'll just have to tell me where you are as I do not feel like figuring out for myself."

[tanstagi]

"I'm up here," Hagbard calls down, from a thick branch about ten feet up. I'd be very grateful if you would?"

[immortalbrat]

Lestat walks over to the tree where Hagbard's voice seems to be coming from. "Are you up in this tree here?"

[tanstagi]

"I'm right up here," Hagbard says meekly, reaching one hand down as far as it will go while he uses the rest of his body to cling, with maybe an excess of feebleness, to the branch.

Lestat reaches up and grabs his hand. "Alright, just drop a bit, I've got you."
