Jacob Black looks around, obviously rather confused, and more than a little afraid, although rather good at hiding it. "Sam? Bella?" He turns around on the spot a few times, and then, begrudgingly, calls out, "Edward? Anyone?" Not having heard anyone reply, Jacob growls low under his breath and sets about investigating, for lack of anything better

Here Jacob, just to make your life better, have a winged, very tall, very pissy in general Warlord Prince stalking in the door, taking one look at Jacob and saying shortly, "He's somewhere around here. Not that you'll find him easily. Damn big place." He unfolds his wings and stretches them a little, rubbing the back of his neck and grimacing.

...now, wings are something Jacob's never seen before. He doesn't mean to, but he's sure he's staring. "Uhm. Who's here?"

Lucivar looks weary but doesn't fold them, the automatic reflex. "The - Edward, yeah. That one." He crooks a half smile. "Talked to him a week or two ago, I think."

Jacob can't help it, he snarls when he hears Edward's name. "You know Edward Cullen?"

Lucivar's eyes flash once before going flat and he takes a deep breath, tucking his wings in and rolling his shoulders back, not looking directly at Jacob. "Don't do that," he says peevishly. "I don't know him well, but yeah, I know him."

"...don't do what?" Jacob says, voice rough and growly. He's not very happy that Edward's here, but maybe that means that Bella's around here somewhere too. "Well, did he say anything about a Bella Swan?"

"Snarl at me. I'm enough on edge as it is." He pauses, thinking back. "No...oh - wait, right. I met her." He half smiles. "She reminded me of my sister."

"You've seen Bella? They're both here?" Fuck. Even when he's... offered a new start, he's fucked over. If they're both here, there's no chance for him to... well, what could he do with Bella anyway? Fuck. Fuck!

Lucivar lifts his eyebrows. "That was the implication," he says dryly.

Now is not the time to be getting sarcastic and dry with Jacob. "Shut up," he growls, skin rippling a little, body itching to phase. Jacob doesn't let him anger and disappointment control him, though, and he stays firmly human.

Lucivar's eyes flare and he shifts slightly, wings unfolding. "No, thank you."
