Ada, passing, suddenly has no memory whatsoever of Esther, Richard, Bleak House, or where on earth she is right now.

Have an un-Morgaused Lamorak, Ada! He is quite charming, though more athletic than polished. Still, he bows on seeing her, and says "My lady."

She starts a little, but offers a shy smile, and a curtsey. "Sir."

"Miss... Clare, wasn't it?" As he's only forgotten Morgause, apparently he still remembers the Mansion.

[dearcousin]

"Yes," she says slowly. "How-- have-- have we met, sir?"

[sonofpellinore]

"Very briefly, my lady, some weeks ago." Another, quick bow. "Sir Lamorak of Camelot, ever at your service."

[dearcousin]

"I should think I would have remembered that," she laughs. "Forgive me."

[sonofpellinore]

"Not at all. I doubt it was a particularly memorable meeting. But regardless, it is a pleasure to see you now. Are you well?"

[dearcousin]

Being Ada, she naturally trusts that he's telling the truth. "Yes, thank you. But a-- a bit lost, I am afraid."

[sonofpellinore]

"Oh? May I assist you in any way?"

[dearcousin]

"If you do not mind, of course," she says quickly. "Might I ask... where are we?"

[sonofpellinore]

"I do not know its name. It is rather a place out of time, from what I understand. But... I thought you had been here some time?"

[dearcousin]

"Oh, no. I have never seen this place before today."

[sonofpellinore]

He is all chivalrous concern. "But, my lady, I met you here. Are you quite sure you're feeling well?"

[dearcousin]

"I-- I think so." But she looks rather worried now.

[sonofpellinore]

"It could be an enchantment. Occasionally, one becomes enchanted here, and losing memory might be a symptom."
