Around the mansion many drinking glasses can be found - all are full of a delicious smelling liquid which many will find impossible to resist. Once someone takes a sip they will begin losing at least one of their senses - sight, hearing, smell, taste or touch. (For those already missing a sense they may find they get that one back but lose another

Well, given the success he's had so far, it's probably appropriate that, on having a bit of wine, Sir Lamorak finds his vision dimming. Eventually, he cannot see at all.

He swears in a very un-knightlike vein. He's had better weeks.

"--i-is something wrong?"

[sonofpellinore]

He turns, eyes unfocused and directed just past Gareth's shoulder. "Who... Sir Gareth? Is that you?"

[sirbeaumains]

"Yes," he says, following Lamorak's gaze with confusion.

[sonofpellinore]

"God's beard man, did someone make it dark again? This place..." He starts to move forward, but at an angle, and half hits the wall. "Hellfire confound it."

[sirbeaumains]

"I can see just fine," he says hesitantly. He starts to reach to give him a hand, but stops. "May I--?"

[sonofpellinore]

"May you what?" He's still got one hand against the wall. He's a little shaken, and so a bit irritable.

[sirbeaumains]

"--help?"

[sonofpellinore]

"Well, I suppose I can't just keep standing here. Lord in heaven, what happened?"

[sirbeaumains]

"Magic, I'd guess," he says, taking him by the arm. "Did you eat something, maybe?"

[sonofpellinore]

"No, nothing different that - I had a bit of wine?"

[sirbeaumains]

"Maybe. I don't really know much about it. Magic, I mean."

[sonofpellinore]

"Yes, well. I supposed you can at least get me to a spot where I won't run into anything else."

[sirbeaumains]

"Right. Just-- just this way," he says, tugging gently at his arm to lead him in the right direction.

[sonofpellinore]

He comes along, half stumbling as he's not used to being led. "Do such things last?"

[sirbeaumains]

"I've never heard of this, but... I don't come up to the mansion very much."
