Around the mansion many drinking glasses can be found - all are full of a delicious smelling liquid which many will find impossible to resist. Once someone takes a sip they will begin losing at least one of their senses - sight, hearing, smell, taste or touch. It has been too long since she lived there, so Marguerite isn't cautious about some things, at least not ones that smell so enticing. She greedily guzzles something sweet and the world goes quiet. She doesn't yet know that there is anything wrong.

Since it's so quiet and peaceful, she goes to a couch, meaning to take a nap.

He moves a little closer, wondering what effect the potion had on her. He knew it was a little unstable.

Marguerite doesn't hear his movement, but she sees him now out of the corner of her eye. "Is something--" Then she breaks off, hand pressing to her lips since she isn't sure why she didn't hear the sound of her own voice.

She shakes her head as if to clear it, then watches his lips with a puzzled frown. "What did you say?" she asks slowly, her fingers pressing against her throat as if she's confirming that there is something coming from her vocal chords. She shakes her head again.

She waves her hands at him, perhaps a bit rudely though she's frustrated. Then she gets up and searches around for paper and pen.

Armed now with her paper, she walks back over to him and offers him both. "What are you saying?" she asks, perhaps a bit too loudly.
