As if she'd never been "missing," (which from her point of view she hasn't been), Marguerite Blakeney returns to the Mansion. She arrives bundled in a heavy cloak against the cold, her elaborately-dressed hair mussed by the wind, but with a glow to her cheeks and a sparkle in her bright blue eyes.

Sweeping the cloak off to drape over her arm, she turns to him. "Are you startled, monsieur? I didn't think my entrance was that dramatic." And she smiles, since she knows exactly what dramatic should look like.
