A rather dramatic entrance...
Anyone walking into the entrance hall of the Mansion this evening will most probably find a prone body on the floor, bleeding all over the place and looking rather dead. He isn't yet, but he could really use some help. Not that he'd admit it, most likely. Anyone unfortunate enough might arrive just as he appears, coughing up blood and swearing at the top of his lungs, which isn't very impressive in his current state.
Meet Locke Lamora, sometimes known as the Thorn of Camorr, professional con and probably one of the proudest, scrawniest, and cleverest thieves you might meet for a while. Though he's not as clever as he'd like to think. Obviously.
Typist: Um, yeah. It's Locke Lamora, from The Lies of Locke Lamora by Scott Lynch. Good book, by the way. Pretty much the only information about it is on Wikipedia. Really I'm the only person I can blame for this, I'm afraid. Hey, at least it isn't another Black Jewels Trilogy character, right? :D
