Though he has cleaned up the blood, Richard is still not wearing a jacket, sleeves rolled up to the elbows. He looks pale, tired, and a bit haunted. He's looking for Curio, Ganymede, and/or Tom, roughly in that order, but is free to be accosted by anyone else who should come across him. He's had a long night.

Ganymede is in his room still, should Richard come looking that far.

He will, eventually, remembering his promise, though it has been many hours, now. He knocks softly.

"Ay?" he calls.

[jarndyceheir]

"It's just Richard Carstone. I wanted to check and see how you felt."

[dukes_daughter]

"Come you in, sir!"

[jarndyceheir]

He does, carefully opening the door and slipping in. "You look well. Or not worse, at the very least. How do you feel?"

[dukes_daughter]

He sits up quickly when Richard comes in, especially upon seeing the expression on his face. "O, well, sir."

[jarndyceheir]

He smiles a little. "Truly? I am glad."

[dukes_daughter]

"Ay," he says. "It doth seem 'twas but a passing fit." He certainly looks the picture of health as compared to Molly, his cheeks flushed and his eyes bright.

[jarndyceheir]

"I'm glad of it," he repeats.

[dukes_daughter]

"Yet you do look in a wearied way. A rest may do you profit, sir."

[jarndyceheir]

He shakes his head. "I'm fine, I assure you. Just... I'm fine," he repeats.

[dukes_daughter]

"What has occurred since I last saw thee?" Ganymede asks, too good at lying himself to believe that Richard is telling the truth. He gestures for Richard to come and sit.

[jarndyceheir]

"I... I've been with Miss Seagrim." He comes and sits.

[dukes_daughter]

"How fares she?"

[jarndyceheir]

"The fever's broken. She just needs rest." He hesitates again.
