Aaron is sitting on a chair and mooning. Well, he wouldn't put it that way. As someone comes in and slams the door, he starts and looks around, and relaxes a little when he realizes that it's one of the Blood. Not much, though. "Everyone meaning who?" He asks curiously.

As simply as he could, he answers, "I was expecting to be home. Dena Nehele."

A blink. "Where?"

[wear_the_silver]

"The Gray Lady's territory. My queen is there."

[moredangerous]

Aaron doesn't recognize the name. "It's in Terreille," he says in a little cooler voice.

[wear_the_silver]

"Yes," Jared agrees, with a frown. "It is. I used to be a pleasure slave."

Oh. Well. He narrows his eyes, still a little wary. "You aren't anymore."

[wear_the_silver]

"My name is Jared, prince."

[moredangerous]

"Jared." A small smile. "...I assume that since you were a pleasure slave, you don't have the same...bias...as most Terreilliens?

[wear_the_silver]

Jared closes his eyes. "I honor the Darkness, and I serve, prince." He knows why the question was necessary, but it still rankles.

Aaron finally relaxes. "One can't be too careful," he says, rather defensively. "In Kaeleer we've gotten used to mistrusting people from Terreille."

[wear_the_silver]

"I can understand. May I know your name?"

[moredangerous]

"Aaron," he says with a grin, offering a hand to shake. "And if you're from Terreille, be ready to be shaken a little."

[wear_the_silver]

"I'd like to think my father taught me the proper ways to behave, but I'll keep that in mind." He shakes the hand. "I am glad to meet honorable males here, Prince Aaron."

He nods. "You'll meet plenty of them. Most of them are decent sorts, if a bit prickly."

[wear_the_silver]

"I can live with prickly."
