An Introduction...
A small hand, pale and infinitely graceful in its movement, reached up to take the handle of the door, pausing only briefly before pushing it open and stepping inside, the clicking of her shoes seeming to echo into the night that lay behind her. Pushing back the heavy cloak hood that partially covered her face, she glanced around with an expression of complete calmness, not seeming to be confused or frightened in any way, though her violet eyes became darker as the moments passed.
Brushing back a few delicate golden curls from the side of her face, she stepped further away from the door, then, glancing back over her shoulder, she stared at the exit before looking ahead again, an eyebrow arched ever so slightly as she looked about. Standing perfectly still, except for the shifting of her gaze, she contemplated her current situation, realising by the smell and sounds of the hall and rooms around her that she had never been here before, nor could she even imagine where here might be. Folds her hands in front of her, seemingly in a polite way, and remained as still as when she had stopped, seeming almost as a statue, or a doll, her cheeks flushed and eyes bright from the kill earlier in the evening, though even then she felt the craving that never left her.
The vampire Claudia, her tiny hands pressed serenely against the front of her costly yellow dress, standing perfectly and completely still in the strange, new place, made the decision then to continue in, to explore what is ahead. Looking again behind her, the jewelled combs in her hair flashing in the lights above, stared again at the door before pursing her lips in a way that is almost pouting before turning back to stare at the hall in that was in front of her, and for a brief moment there was a look of something like doubt visible in her features... A realisation, perhaps, but it is quickly gone, pushed away to hide behind eyes that are too hard and aware to be those of a child.
She stood still for a few more minutes, not even seeming to breathe with how rigid she is, and then stepped forward, lifting her hands to again brush at her hair, lingering in a way that is almost thoughtful before her arm lowered to fold her hands in front of her.
Typist note: Hi! I noticed that the Claudia isn't active anymore..so... I decided to bring her in myself. Claudia is of course the child vampire from the novel Interview with the Vampire, and the time-period I'm bringing her in from is when she and Louis are together in Paris, just before she dies. I hope this is all right with the other VC people here... I can easily change the time she is from, so just ask! Thanks!
