A young woman steps through the door...

In she strides, swinging through the Mansion's tall front doors in a swirl of vivid colors - a tall, lanky young woman, somewhere in her early twenties, with startlingly green eyes and a veritable mane of marmalade-colored curls tumbling loose to her waist. She wears a loose white shirt and sand-colored bloomers, billowing out until they tighten

Linden takes a step back, and bows over his walking cane. "I beg your pardon."

[lincilla]

"Oh! I'm sorry," and she moves back. "I thought you were someone I knew, for a moment. You look a little like--but, well. You clearly aren't."

[heartofbirds]

"I'm very sorry." His warm-milk voice, safe, reassuring. "Is it possible I can help you?"

[lincilla]

"Anything's possible," she says with a slight laugh. "Could you tell me where I am?"

[heartofbirds]

"I'm afraid that's a matter of contention."

[lincilla]

"What do you mean?"

[heartofbirds]

"I only know it is not my home, madam. I'm afraid I have no more concrete information."
