Tristran Thorn is seventeen and chiefly composed of elbows, adam's apple, and copious amounts of awkward. Karla has been sitting by the lake and watching the sky, and creeps almost silently up behind him. If he doesn't turn around, she'll tap him on the shoulder and murmur "Boo," in his ear.
