The newly cheerful Cassandra sees the invitation and has a moment of hesitation before she mutters, "Why not?" And goes looking for either Rupert or whoever is running to party. Or perhaps both.

Armand waves to her and points to the ice cream. "Eat all you like. There's more."

She gives him a smile and a curtsy, ducking her head shyly. "Thank you, sir," she murmurs in a rather quiet voice. "It is very good of you to do such a thing for the people of this place."

"Tis only a promise I made to a friend. Enjoy yourself. There should be some dancing later."

[apolloscurse]

She gives him another shy little smile. "Oh. I like to dance."

[sweariwontdie]

"Good. There should at least be some elves here later. Christopher likes to dance." He hopes he comes later.

[apolloscurse]

"Christopher?"

[sweariwontdie]

"My husband. Don't fret, mademoiselle. He doesn't bite."

She gives a little laugh, just a little shocked by the fact that a man has a husband. However, she doesn't want to be rude. And it's not as though alternate sexualities are entirely unheard of in Greece. "Oh, good. I would love to meet him."

"If he comes down, I'll make sure you meet. We have the baby though, and I always was more social."

[apolloscurse]

Her eyes light up. "A baby?"

[sweariwontdie]

He grins. "That's what people do when they marry round here. Settle down and raise families."
