Because Andy just never can manage to avoid this sort of thing, a tiny black-haired boy, perhaps five years old, is now perched on the arm of a couch with his knees up to his chest. He's still painfully shy, but his eyes are bright and curious.

From various times before, Armand thinks he may recognize the youngster, and he's increasingly grateful that his memory is acting less alarmingly now. He crouches down near the couch. "I think I know you, young man," he says cheerfully.

Little Andy stares at him for a few moments, face half hidden behind his knees, before raising his head and replying barely above a whisper. "Don't know you..."

"But I think I know you. It's Andy isn't it?" Armand keeps his voice gentle.

He nods carefully. "Andy Venizelos," he replies, still so very, very quiet. "Who're you?"

"I'm Armand. Have you recognized anyone?" Armand's legs are feeling the straing so he gives in and sits on the floor.

Andy shakes his head, biting his lower lip in a way that the probably thinks won't be noticed.

"Well, if you don't find someone soon, I can look after you for the time being. I have a little boy, just a baby, so I know about little boys."

Andy watches him very seriously for a few moments, before smiling a little and nodding.

"Oh good," Armand says with relief. "Should I find a game for you? Are you hungry?"

Andy considers these questions very seriously before answering "...Hungry."

"That's easy enough. Let's go see what's in the kitchen." He gets back to his feet and holds his hand out to the boy.

After a moment, Andy gives Armand another shy smile and squirms off of the couch arm to take his hand. "Okay."

As he leads him towards the kitchen, Armand asks Andy, "What would you like to eat? I'm not the best cook." He laughs.

Little Andy trots along after him, holding tightly to Armand's hand. "Umm...I like peanut butter." He looks up at Armand to see if that's alright.

"I can manage peanut butter. What kind of jelly do you like?" When they reach the kitchen, Armand lifts Andy so the boy can sit on the counter. They can talk more eye-level that way.
