"Is that electricity?" she asks, interested in the sparks Ariana's ignoring.

*suddenly slightly self-conscious, and confused* Electricity?

[Typist: Oh, those are quite welcome. :)]

[dragon_dealer]

"Like lightning and things. I've been reading up on it. Does it spark from you to someone else if you touch them?"

[mad_ariana]

*folds her arms over her chest nervously* I...I don't know. I've never tried that. It would be too dangerous.

[dragon_dealer]

"Well, not on purpose - it just happens. I have a friend who can't help it, and I'm trying to figure a way to make it stop for him."

[mad_ariana]

*a bit of excitement* Is there a way to make things like that stop?

[dragon_dealer]

"I'm sure there is. I fireproofed myself, so there must be a way to electricity-proof people too. I just have to find it."

[mad_ariana]

*hesitant* Did you have fire coming out of you before? *because that happens sometimes too, when she gets really frustrated, and...*

[dragon_dealer]

"Oh, no. I was living with dragons, and was worried it might come out of them unexpectedly. I keep it up here mostly just because I'm used to being fireproof."

[mad_ariana]

*astonishment* You were living with dragons?

[dragon_dealer]

She nods. "I was working for one, until I ended up here."

[mad_ariana]

What can you do for a dragon?

[dragon_dealer]

"Cook. Clean. Organize her library, help her schedule meetings and things. Shoo away knights."

[mad_ariana]

*giggles, just a little* But how does she turn the pages of the books?

[dragon_dealer]

"Carefully," she says, deadpan, so it's hard to tell whether or not she means it.

[mad_ariana]

*nods, taking this at least a little seriously* Otherwise her claws would tear the pages.
