The Mansion currently contains one (1) goddess of love and beauty, who has been keeping to herself lately and is rather miffed that praises have not been heaped upon her while she's been absent.

Therefore, to instigate some interest in her work if not herself, she's set up a little gazebo in the Mansion's garden. It's lovely, shaded and airy

Not a huge fan of Aphrodite under normal circumstances, he'll probably like her even less after this. But Dinadan just has to take a moment to see what on earth this is, having never noticed any gazebo in the garden before.

Sagramore is seated at the table, and gives Dinadan an amused look from within.

"What is this thing?" he asks without preface.

[le_desirous]

"I swear I don't know. Come in?"

[scoffandjest]

"Don't mind if I do." And he does.

Sagramore leans back in his chair and eyes him.

[scoffandjest]

"And what're you looking at?" he asks affably. He's very tall-- he has to duck a little too get in, and when he takes a seat in the chair opposite Sagramore's, he seems just a little too long for it.

[le_desirous]

"What, I can't look at thee?" Sagramore is better at ordinaries when it comes to height and stature and, really, colouring, though there's that of the exotic about him from his Byzantine mother. He does like Dinadan's height; he always has.

"'course you can," he says, sounding half surprised by his own answer. "Just so long as I can look back."

"All you like," lifting his eyebrows slightly.

[scoffandjest]

He glances away as soon as Sagramore says it, though, choosing to look instead at the grapes on the trellis, then at the candles. He almost seems ill at ease. "This hasn't always been here, has it?"

"I can tell you very frankly I have no idea. I'm new here, remember?"

[scoffandjest]

"Oh, right. Well, then I'll decide. This hasn't been here before today."

[le_desirous]

"Peculiar place, this."

[scoffandjest]

"So they tell me. I must say, I've yet to encounter anything wildly out of the ordinary. I'm almost disappointed."

"It's as badly managed as Kay. I really think someone should be taken to task."
