*long pause, as Mina absorbs that statement. Ultimately, it is nearly unbelievable and she decides she must have misheard it* Excuse me...what was that?

"I hope there are vampires still around here," he smiles.

*with a forced smile* Forgive me for asking this, as it's rather a forward question, but why do you hope that?

"I miss them, mademoiselle."

*considers how utterly odd that is before replying* But vampires are...rather like humans. I cannot imagine what specific quality you might miss in them.

"Mmm... The bite, mademoiselle." He replies with a dreamy air.
