Luneta gives him a friendly smile. "Hello."

He put on a small smile, determined not to stare at her clothes. "Hello."

She doesn't mind staring at his. "What are you wearing?"

He blinks and glances down. "A... t-shirt. And jeans. What are you wearing?" he finds himself asking, hoping she won't be offended.

She laughs. "You dress like Uncle Mordred! He wears that, too. I'm wearing a kirtle." She swishes her skirts at him.

He simply nods and smiles, hands in the pocket of his jeans now, giving a chuckle. "What exactly is a kirtle?"

[luneta_lioness]

"My dress! It's called a kirtle!"

[porcupineties]

"Oh...Well, that's an interesting name," he adds, blushing. "I guess 'jeans' is an interesting name, too, though."

[luneta_lioness]

"Yes, it is," she says promptly. "Where do you live?"

[porcupineties]

"Arizona. Where do you live?"

[luneta_lioness]

"I did live in Orkney, but now I live here with my cousin."

"When did you get here?" he asks.

[luneta_lioness]

"Just before Christmas."

[porcupineties]

"You like it here?" he wants to know in case he ends up staying. (And he obviously will, since Stargirl is here too. :D)

She thinks back on her father, who's mad right now, and she puts her hands in the pockets of her dress thoughtfully. "I don't know."

"Oh... I'm sorry if I've offended you or anything, but since I'm going to stay here, I thought I'd ask..."
