Nita reads it over three or four times to make sure she's getting it right. Then she takes the time to change out of her well-worn jeans and slightly rude T-shirt and into something a little more decorous, before going to find Arabella.
"In my world -- in my universe -- it's equal opportunity." Nita frowns at the teapot, rather than at Arabella. "It's also not something you use for evil."
"I would say the same of magic of my world, but I consider, now, its use in war. While it seemed quite delightful to us, I am sure it seemed rather evil to the French."
"War?" Kit says, stepping through the door. His hands have been mostly scrubbed clear of the engine grease, but you can never get all of that stuff off.
"Hey, Nita," he adds, with a grin to her. "Mrs. Strange?"
She pokes her head in. "Hi. Mrs. Strange?"

And, having reached the best friend, he grins at her. "I have a doo-hickey for you! I'll show you later."
