Luna reads through the entire note with a vague sort of interest and approaches Arabella, wand tucked behind her ear.
"You might want to ammend that to read 'Witches and Wizards', actually," she says, giving her a wide-eyed look. "But if you're looking for one of the latter, I'm right here."
"Arabella Strange," she replies, and pauses, trying to think of a way to say what she means. "I have always been taught that magic is a profession best left to gentlemen."
"Most students are sent an invitation when they turn 10," Luna replies, and then, rather obliquely (as a lot of what she says often is). "I was sorted into Ravenclaw."
"How interesting! What, I beg, is a Ravenclaw?" She laughs, realizing that the name is apparently rather self explanatory. "That is, what do you mean by it?"
"There are four different Houses in the school," Luna explains patiently. "And depending on what you're like, you get sorted into a certain House. I was sorted into Ravenclaw because I want to learn everything, and I'm curious about everything. There's also - Gryffindor, Slytherin, and Hufflepuff. I think the name Hufflepuff sounds a little silly, but they're all really nice people."
"You might want to ammend that to read 'Witches and Wizards', actually," she says, giving her a wide-eyed look. "But if you're looking for one of the latter, I'm right here."
