Bran doesn't excite or embarrass easily. If he's been missing, he had reason, though he's certainly not a snob about it. He is a Count, after all, with all of Tlanth to rule.

"How has everyone been?" he asks in a loud, friendly voice. Then he stretches and drops into a chair, more graceful than it looks with long limbs sprawled everywhere.

Typist: Glad to see that he's back! :) I don't think Danric-mun was planning on reviving Nee, but I don't have any problems with saying that they've been married already.

Mel! *excitedly sweeps her (and the baby) up and swings them around* You're looking good. How's Danric?

*laughs* He's well. Busy, of course.

Of course. I've been busy myself. Can you imagine that? Me working? Well, Nee does all the books. I am out and about getting other things done. Like visiting my sister.

*beams* That is not your little Alaeric is it?

typist: forgive me if I spelled the baby's name wrong. The way I feel right now I'm surprised I remembered it.

No, I can't begin to imagine it. I'm glad Nee is keeping you on track. *grins at the baby* Yes, this is your nephew Alaraec.

Typist: No problem- I still have to doublecheck myself on it a lot.

He looks just like you.

*smiles* Do you want to hold him?

I'm afraid I'd drop him.

You won't drop him! Here. *puts Alaraec into Bran's arms* Just hold him like that.

*holds the baby close, but not too tightly* But--

You won't drop him. *the baby tries to grab Bran's hair* See? He likes you!

Ow! *still looks nervous* He's related to you alright. You haven't pulled my hair in years.

You got too tall.

Lucky me. So now you're training your offspring to sneak up on me.

Maybe someday, but not yet. *grins* He's a bit small to be planning an attack.
