He nods. "Well, some seem to be a bit.. impulsively violent or.. callous about the taking of life..," he looks a little concerned.

I suppose that makes sense. Okay, here's an off-the-wall question, but do they look any different than normal people?

"Why do you want to know?" He gives him a careful look, hesitating to see if he's safe to give such information.

Well, ah, I'm sort of a vampire-detective back home, but haven't been able to sense anything. I'm... trying to see if the vampires here are different.

"Do you want to harm them?"

If they're not Peeps... er, vampires from my home, then no.

"The ones I've seen are basically human-looking but sometimes may look a bit.. harder - like a statue? Especially if they stand still. And if you touch them they are very hard... At least from my experience."

Well, they're not vampires as you know them. They've got this parasite that... uh basically... it makes them crazed cannibals that hate everything they once loved.
