"Did you need something, monsieur?" For the life of him, Armand cannot remember Wednesday's name. Perhaps because they hadn't met though Armand does try to know who everyone is, especially if they may be on the 'best not to talk to' list. He's vaguely worried that this wiley looking old gentleman is one of those.

"It seems this place has more people of the french heritage than I can count," Wednesday mused. "No, nothing in particular. What's your name, sir?"

"Oh, I apologize. I'm Armand St. Just." He keeps smiling, mostly to hide that he's still nervous. "There are many French people here."

"Armand. Well, Armand, you can call me Wednesday."

He bows. "Bonjour, M. Wednesday... I feel I ought to have met you before."

"I've only been here a short while. How long have you been here?"

"Nearly two years. It's been an adventure, I'll admit."

"Two years! thats quite a long time."

In comparison to his own existance, which surpassed several thousands long ago, is no time at all, but nevertheless, for a human that was quite a chunk of time.

"It is. I feel almost a different person." There is a distinct bitter tone under his words though it is obvious he's trying to sound cheerful.

"Is that a good thing?" he asked brow raising.

"I don't know," Armand says honestly. "There is so much I should be happy about, but so much that hurts that I would never have even know of if I'd been able to stay quietly in England."

"Its how it always is, moving, changing. But we can't ever go back." Wednesday nodded, knowing this from experience.

"True. So what do you do, M. Wednesday?"

"Me? Ah, me. Well, that depends. Do you mean what I do here? Or back in America? Or before that? Thats quite a question."

"Here, I suppose. Unless what you did in America was terribly interesting."

"Nothing I do is terribly interesting, I'm afraid."

Which...was a lie, really.

"Here, I haven't done much of anything. Though I have met a few old friends."
