Out in the snow, not too far from the Mansion itself, stands a man. At least, it might reasonably called that.
This man, you see, is made of copper. He's not much taller than a nine year old child, and his body is made of a ball of burnished copper. His face has been given smiling features and a moustache.
He is also not moving.
On his back is a peg, on the peg is an old-fashioned key of the sort used to wind up toys, and a sign, which reads:
