The goblin king is restless - never a good thing for a faerie to be, for it can often yield mischief. However Jareth is in an exceptionally good mood as of late and as a result is feeling up to doing something useful as well as something that will satisfy an old habit that he's not yet outgrown

Oh, Claudia is interested in this. Louis has mentioned he would like to raise a child again, and naturally Claudia must comply somehow.

And so she approaches, curiously. "...Good evening."

[jareth]

"Good evening to you as well."

[accursed_youth]

A nod to the sign. "Your timing is rather remarkable, did you know?"

[jareth]

He tilts his head a little. "I wasn't aware of it, do tell me more...."

[accursed_youth]

"Louis wants to raise a child again." She settles near him, elegantly. "I had intention to go out and claim one myself during my hunts, but this seems more...honest. Louis will likely be fonder of this method."

[jareth]

"I see... are you planning on taking a role as guardian or parent for a child with him?"

[accursed_youth]

"To a degree, yes. Admittedly I have little patience, and I have thought this over long and hard because I do admit my temperament could be unhealthy for a child. For that reason I hoped to inquire about an older child. Toddler age."

"I...cannot be any worse than Lestat. And I believe he and Louis raised me well enough in those sixty-odd years I stayed." A pause. "I love Louis. And if he wishes a child, I wish one as well."

[jareth]

He remains silent for a long moment, considering her words, then finally speaks again.

"Have you and Louis a preference as to whether it is a boy or a girl?"

[accursed_youth]

"I do not think it matters to Louis, but I would prefer a boy, if it's all the same." She says after a pause.

[jareth]

"Then a boy I shall look for," he says, thoughtfully. "Does Lestat plan to play a role in this future family? I should imagine, or rather hope that he is already an active parent to his and Nicolas' daughter..."

[accursed_youth]

"Lestat is active indeed. The girl will be as spoiled as I was, I'm sure. But Nicolas will keep her humble, certainly."

"But no. This is not going to involve Lestat, though I am sure he will aid us if we ever asked."
