She sees him and goes up to him, giving his shoulders a light squeeze.

"What's wrong Bunny? Still the baby thing?"

Jackrabbit smiled at her, shrugging. "Thngs arent going as planned."

She gives him a friendly smile.

"Tell me about it?"

Jackrabbit frowned.

He wasnt sure what to say.

He held up the flimsy/shirt he was making for Sweeney. "This is for Mad Sweeney. Will person like it?"

"Of course he will. He would be bloody stupid not to, Bunny!"

"Person has only two shirts, and I ripped one," he said sheepishly.

She laughs. "Then I bet he will really really like it!"

"Yes. Its not Sweeney's style, though..." he paused. "I maybe will ask Mad Sweeney to mother, then. I think."

T...Im assuming this thread is pre-discussing it with Sweeney, of course.

"You think so? I think that would be a very good idea babe."

he shrugged limply.

"It is very much against the traditions of Mattapoisett. But we are not in Mattapoisett..." he seemed pained. "And so..."

She rubs his back. "If you need any help or anything, I'm here"

He smiles. "Thank you, Bridget Jones. You are a good friend."

She laughs a little and gives him a little squeeze.

"Do you think Mad Sweeney would mother well? I think so."

She thinks of the drunken man she has met a couple of times and has to bite down on her lip a little. "I don't know him as well as you do, I'm sure he will be just perfect if you think he will."

He bit his cheek. "You don't think so."
