Digby Driver had been sent to interview the McGinter girl. Having been turned away from the front door by the mother, and finding the back door locked, and himself unable to pick it, that left the window. After climbing up the drainpipe, finding himself in danger of falling at a few points, but eventually reached it. He managed to pry it open (this was not the first time he'd done it) and tumbled through the window into...

...What is most certainly not the upper story of the McGinter home. Driver scrambles to his feet and turns to look out the window. No, not the upper story of anything. He turns again to see where he has found himself. It is also much larger than anything he'd expected, not to mention that there are a good number of people.

He gives them his most winning smile.

"Hello, I'm Digby Driver of the London Orator. I appear to have taken a wrong turn." (Somehow.) "Could anyone tell me where I've ended up?"

Typist: Digby Driver, sleazeball journalist, from The Plague Dogs by Richard Adams. I've just described his personality, although, admittedly, he does have a heart, somewhere under all the slime. Taken from before his introduction into the book. Incidentally, I also play Snitter. Yeah, I know.

Also, Digby thinks in parenthesis and his real name is Kevin Gumm. And I know the icons stink.

wednesday, introduction, digby
