Míriel studies him in silence, and if she is surprised to see a human (or his ghost, it's all the same) she keeps it well hidden.

"These are not the Halls of Mandos then. I thought so." She nods, saying these words more to herself than to José and lifts up a hand to glance at the translucent fingers. "What happened to make it possible for unhoused spirits to walk the world?"

She is a mother, and she will always recognize her son, even if she had not given her life to him. But for once she will not know how to react, whether to laugh or to weep, to try and touch him, or just... do nothing.

She stands waiting, but her hands are stretched out to him.

When Feanor leaves, Armand stares at the ghostly figure Fea had been talking to. "Oh my," he whispers. When he sure Feanor is gone for good, he steps closer. "Lady?" he asks tentatively. "Are you..." He can't quite say 'a ghost' so he settles onto a rather lame, "well?"
