It seems a little appropriate that I come back on a holiday, even if it isn't the right holiday.
I hope nobody missed me too much. And that a certain Mr. Day of the week wasn't causing too much trouble behind my back.

He mimics the raised eyebrow and folds his arms across his chest. He shrugs after a moment. "It's been awhile," he repeats, as if it explains everything. And perhaps it does. "I wouldn't have expected you to turn up in the middle of winter."
