"Do you mean a baby? What for?" There is something of a sneer to his voice. Sorry about him.

*raises an eyebrow, drily* One would assume because they are pleased to have a son. Just as I'm pleased to have a nephew.

[dracoslytherin]

"What do they even need one for?" He's not fond of babies, as if you can't tell...

[sadist_daemon]

Is it really any of your business?

[dracoslytherin]

"It is when you start announcing things like this."

[sadist_daemon]

I don't inquire into my brother's private life, I'm afraid.

[dracoslytherin]

"So then why is he making you be his official announcer?"

[sadist_daemon]

*mild eyeroll* He's taking care of his wife. Childbirth is hardly pleasant, you know.

[dracoslytherin]

"That's her problem. She made that decision. She'll have to deal with it. And now they'll both have to deal with the consequences."

[sadist_daemon]

*smoothly* What sort of consequences would those be, pray? Never mind that a tiny Eyrien will be an absolute terror.

[dracoslytherin]

He rolls his own eyes now as if the answer was obvious. "The baby, of course."

He can't understand why anyone would want a baby. He's rather selfish in that way - he thinks people's attentions are taken away from him when there are babies involved and he doesn't like that. Even if he doesn't know the parents and they're unlikely to be turning their attention to him anyway...

*drily -- and a bit coldly* Well, considering his father and uncle's tempers, I suppose it will be interesting. *which is not quite a warning, just -- Draco should watch himself*

"What's that got to do with it? A baby is a baby and they're all the same - annoying."

[sadist_daemon]

*a shrug* We are Blood. Daemonar is a Warlord Prince. We're not known for having the best of tempers.

"So you're expecting an.... angry baby?"

*mildly* I wouldn't know. I never spent much time around babies.
