*Ilmarinen has been working hard in Feanor's forge to make what people have requested from him--and now he emerges with:
three (3) wonderfully-sculpted, demure maidens of gold, who move as though they were made of flesh -- for Mad Sweeney
two (2) pieces of golden jewelry, an armband and a torque, with a delicate leaf-pattern in pearly enamel -- also for Mad Sweeney, to give to Jackrabbit
one (1) small golden fish, with copper scaling and fins of silver and eyes of enamel, which swims through water in defiance of its surprising weight -- for Rosencrantz
unfortunately, Ilmarinen can never make exactly what he intends the first time, and the other things that he create tend to be ungovernable instruments of havoc, so he has also made:
one (1) boat that will take anyone who should happen to sit in it to an enemy's feet--across land or water; it makes no difference
one (1) golden harp that sings out the secret of any who should happen to play it
one (1) pair of golden bracelets that affix anyone who wears them to the first person that he or she meets, until that person deigns to remove said bracelets
one (1) magical sleigh that will not stop moving, which has picked up all of the others before Ilmarinen could destroy them, and then distributed them across the DF landscape
