"Be calm, lady." Dido approaches her, reaching out an arm to steady her, lest she stumble in her panic. She is dressed simply, but every inch the queen in her demeanor. "You are in no danger here. Who is murdered and where is the villain? I am Dido, Queen of Carthage, and I will help, if I am able."

The lady wipes at her eyes with a dainty hand. "The heir to the Thane of Fife, My Lady of Carthage. My children, my eldest son still not well-aged was slaughtered before me."

"Here, within this mansion, or somewhere before you arrived?" Dido is gentle, pulling a kerchief from her pocket and offering it to dry the lady's tears.

"No, not here. This is not my home..." She accepts kerchief with a slight, proper curtsy and blots at her eyes. "I was there not a moment past. I flew from the hall, and the castle Macduff as well if my eyes do not decieve me."

"Forgive my saying so, lady, but you may have died unknowing, to have come here." Dido gives her a sympathetic smile. "You are safe here, and you may someday see your child again. It's been known to happen, in this place."
