Jewelry you say? Well, the King of Narnia is actually currently looking for a ring to present to his fiancee. And in his mind only the best will do. He had been considering something dwarf-made, from Narnia, but if there is something here that is even more fine?

So he will inquire after these commissions. Naturally.

"A ring, you say? What exactly do you have in mind, then?"

And he is, rest assured, and now he's a very happy trustworthy young King.

"I am not quite sure as I would like to be, actually. I've never been too wonderful with selecting jewelry." He speaks, carefully. "I also have found my finest swords have been crafted by allowing as much artistic license as I am able."

"...I know a bit of what I would like though. In Narnia there is a Lion. The Lion, really, and I hoped to include an image in his honor. And I thought perhaps gold as the metal..."

"The betrothal ring, I should think." He answers with a nod to cement is conviction.

"Are you certain that you wish a golden ring, then?"

And here is a thoughtful pause. "Shouldn't it be gold? The marriage ring itself is a simple gold band to be worn with the betrothal ring..." And he pauses. "What do you think is best? I am afraid I'm very new at this..."

"Well, among my people it is custom to make the betrothal ring of silver. But then, it is not worn together with the marriage ring, either, so I assume your people have different customs..."

"I would assume so." And he smiles, kindly. "But, yes, I think gold..."

"Very well. What width? And what size?"

[new_old_narnian]

"The width. 6mm to 7mm I would think. Not too dainty, but not too wide. She's not a lady who would be suited to something too delicate, but she is still a lady..."

"Finger size...she's nearly a six, I should say, just shy of it."

"Ah; I see you what you're talking about." He smiles.
"And do you have any special ideas about the lion? Lying? Standing? Running?"
