This weekend was one of the best I've had in a long while. On friday, we went out for a damned change, or rather, I got to go out for a damned change. The night started off at The Big House with some peeps. Hannah gave me a sexy little haircut and then we carried on to some straight boy's house with the lovely Hannah and Jen. Then we proceeded to a party at Kierie's house. That was a fucking amazing party. I danced my ass off. Like woah. I was told I was "vivacious and full of energy" and that I was "the life of the party" by some boy. I was also quite drunk and, shall we say, friendly. It was great though. David wore a dead animal. I made a point of meeting like a million people who's names I do not remember. I'll have to sneak around myspace and see who I can remember. I was drunk. Sue me. Anyways, great times.
Saturday I received the disappointment of a lifetime. Kung Foods has closed. My hungover ass walked all the way there and it was closed. I have nothing left to live for in this god-forsaken city.
Anyways, we just sort of loafed around and recovered from the night before. Hung out with John Bobis and Damien for a little while. David tried to persuade them to go out but they pussed out and didn't want to. Oh well.
Sunday, was an Easter to be remembered. I met David's family. They're not nearly as terrible as he made them out to be but it was still a memorable experience. They must have been on their best behavior. His mother did, however, insist on showing me the videotape of their family's televised tragedy and then asked if I had ever seen "pictures from when David was fat". I think she may have been trying to scare me away but it didn't work. Needless to day, David was thoroughly unamused.
Afterwards, we came home and dyed my hair brown. Its cute. We also watched The Last Temptation of Christ in honor of Jesus' Birthday, Part 2. That movie is weird. David Bowie plays Pontius Pilate which is pretty amazing and Willem Defoe makes pretty unconvincing Jesus.
All in all, it was a damned good weekend. Too bad you all had to miss it.
Now I'm at work while my good for nothing boyfriend is loafing about at home. It must be nice to be able to take a vacation. I wouldn't know.
