*hugs* Getting a virus in the winter is bad enough - at least one expects colds and general ickyness. Getting a virus in the summer adds insult to injury.
I struggled into work yesterday feeling yucky and discovered I couldn't string 2 thoughts together plus found a general dizziness and giddyness going on.
So I gave up and came home - which shatters my marvellous 3.5 months without being sick record.
Still felt cr*p today so went to the doctor ('cos last time I didn't and it turned out to be sinusitis). And I've got a cold.
But apparently they are officially horrible things to have in this weather and we should drink even more liquid than normal, take painkillers of choice and rest up.
Get better soon

I call those ridiculous moments of public embarressment "Lucy Moments." And I have them too, quite regularly... I hope you are feeling better soon!!
It's great to read about the cutting process you are doing with your current book. I've just started with your blog, and am working my way back in time. I just wanted to say hello and continue the good work!!!
Devon FINALLY asked me if I would be an advanced reader on her fantasy project... I've been waiting for that question for months... Of COURSE I will, don't be ridiculous!!! And I hereby extend that curtousy to you for "River of the World."
