Update time
. . . Just got back from San Diego . . . We went to the beach, Sea World, the Zoo. . . everything that I probably would have loved had I been 8 years younger, but all in all it was alright. I got a little sunburned, and hopefully a tad more tanned. Other than that, there's really nothing to report.
I've been listening to some new music and stuff. I've got mixed feelings about the new Yeah Yeah Yeahs. I really liked Gold Lion like the first 20 times I heard it, and though I still dig it, I can feel that it's starting to get old for me. I still really enjoy it, it just doesn't give me the shivers-down-the-back sensation it did the first few times. I might check out thier album when it comes out. If I really like it I might buy it or something.
I've downloaded some more stuff because I heard it was good; Artic Monkeys, Bob Marley, Fiona Apple, Nine Black Alps, Matisyahu, Tegan and Sara and some others. I haven't got a chance to really listen to it all yet, so I can't really say anything one way or the other on most of them (From what I have listened to so far, most of it looks pretty promising, especially Tegan and Sara). If I happen upon any great revelations one way or the other then I'll post some reviews or something.
If you've got any really cool recomendations I'd love to hear them. I'm trying to diviersify my tastes a little. I epecially want to know if you know of a band that's out of the ordinary or off the wall in a cool way. So yeah, just leave comments . . .
