Ecuador roads
The rules for driving in Ecuador are simple.
- Speed limits don't count especially if your a taxi driver and the fare is pre negotiated,
- the lanes are separated by dashed lines - make sure that you drive over it when possible,
- if there is a speed bump don't slow down just go around it, even if that means going into in coming traffic
- if you are stuck in the middle of the road because the light changed red no worries, other car can go around you
- side walks are short cuts
- finally when in doubt honk the horn
