An update of the previous policies and procedures post back in 2007. Fandom(s) and LJ have changed, and I tried to adapt the rules. As a general rule, I try to include everything I find, but if I forgot something - sorry about that, it wasn't intentional.

Your link won't be included in despatches ...

1. ... if there's no decent header or if I have to guess the fandom.

2. ... if there's no rating.

3. ... if it's a drabble.

4. ... if your multi-part fic doesn't come with a link to a master post or if there's no indication where to find previous chapters.

5. ... if it's an icon post with under 10 icons.

6. ... if it goes to a friends-only/locked post, or one with comments turned off.

7. ... if it's RPF. Exception: historical RPF.

If none of the above applies to your fic/art/meta etc. and it's still not included in despatches , then I've missed it - sorry! Just reply to the latest entry here and let me know.

I try to get despatches done on Thursday, latest Friday. If real life should make it impossible for me to cover a week, I'll keep you posted.
